Managing Director
Ramon Diez-Canedo is the Managing Director of CCLA. He has more than 11 years of experience in investment banking and real estate investment management. Mr. Diez-Canedo joined CIM Group in 2012 and has worked on several real estate transactions in the United States. Previously, Mr. Diez-Canedo was an Analyst in the Investment Banking division of Morgan Stanley. He earned a degree in Economics from the Center for Economic Research and Teaching in Mexico City.
Vice President, Development & Construction
Hector Figueroa Estrada is a Vice President of Development & Construction for CCLA Mexico. Mr. Figueroa has over 21 years of experience as Director of Real Estate Projects and has been responsible for the setup of the development area for CCLA in Mexico. Previously, he worked as Real State Project Director for Thor Urbana, Nemesis Capital, Questro and Gicsa. He majored in Architecture at the Anahuac University Mexico and earned a master’s degree in Finance and Urban Real Estate from the Iberoamericana University of Mexico. He also has a Senior Management Degree from the Instituto Panamericano de Alta Dirección de Empresas, as well as a Project Management Certification.
Vice President, Operations & Finance
Nora Galvan is the Vice President of Operations & Finance for CCLA LATAM. Prior to joining CCLA, Ms. Galvan served as a Finance Director and a Mergers and Acquisitions Director at Walmart and a Portfolio Manager at Prudential Real Estate investors. She earned a degree in Industrial Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de Mexico.
Vice President, Development & Construction
Jorge Giacaman is the Vice President of Development and Construction for CCLA Chile. He is responsible for the direction of the pre-development and development processes of residential rental projects in Chile. Before joining CCLA, he worked at the CIMENTA Real Estate Investment Fund, firstly occupying the position of Deputy Manager of Engineering followed by 20 years in the position of Development & Construction Vice President. He earned a Bachelor of Construction Sciences degree with the title of Civil Constructor.
Vice President, Investment Management
Sebastian Luque is the Vice President of Investment Management and Country Head for CCLA Colombia. Prior to this, Mr. Luque headed Round Hill Capital’s expansion into Latin America, previously leading the expansion into Spain. Before Round Hill Capital, he worked at Corredores Davivienda Investment bank, one of the leading banks in Colombia. During his career, Mr. Luque has closed over $3 billion in transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, bond issuances and joint ventures. He is a graduate of Universidad de Los Andes, where he earned a bachelor's degree and a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering with a minor in Business and Entrepreneurship. Mr. Luque also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from London Business School.
Vice President, Property Management
Jordan Malugen is the Vice President of Nomad Living, the property management arm of CCLA. He is responsible for the day-to-day management of 100 employees, 2,300 rental units and 35,000 square meters of commercial space. Prior to joining Nomad Living, Mr. Malugen was Vice President of Investments at Jaguar Growth Partners and Vice President at Prudential Real Estate Investors Latin America. Mr. Malugen earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colorado College and a Master of Science degree in Food and Resource Economics from the University of Florida. Mr. Malugen is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers, where he served as director of programs for Mexico. Mr. Malugen is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
Vice President, Investment Management
Rodrigo de la Maza is the Vice President of Investments and Country Head for CCLA Chile and CCLA Peru. He is responsible for leading all real estate projects. Prior to joining the firm, he worked at MetLife Chile and Principal Asset Management for over seven years, structuring and underwriting long term commercial debt and leading the real estate equity investment program. Mr. de la Maza holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a Master of Science degree in Finance from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. He also earned a Master of Business Administration from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.
VP Financial Reporting
Jose Urbina is Vice-president of the Financial and Reporting team in CCLA. He oversights the financial and accounting reports for the funds, assets, and corporate group for the entities in CCLA Latin América. Before joining CCLA, Mr. Urbina worked in Colliers International, directing and supervising the accounting teams in Latin America from México. Prior to Colliers, Mr. Urbina worked in Schlumberger in several managerial positions in Caracas, Paris, Río de Janeiro and México, and also as Financial Auditor in Ernst & Young. He earned an Accounting Degree in Universidad Catolica Andrés Bello in Venezuela, and a Diploma in the Top Direction Program at IPADE in México.
Vice President, Development & Construction
Jaime Santa Ana is a Vice President of Development and Construction for CCLA Mexico. He is responsible for guiding and managing all group investments during the preconstruction and construction stages. Mr. Santa Ana has made his career in companies like GICSA, ABILIA and Parque Reforma. He earned a degree in Civil Engineering and a master’s degree in Science and Engineering from Ibero-American University. He also earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin. He received a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute of America, and has a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Panamerican University.
